The Hampton met our reunion requirements: hot breakfast included, indoor pool, pet friendly with a one-time $75 fee, about 30 minutes from EWR, and restaurants and shopping nearby.
Rates are $229 for a king bed room and $239 for a two queen bed room. That was the lowest rate of all the hotels searched, and one of only two pet-friendly options.
Thursday and Sunday rates are expected to be $50-$60 less per night for family extending their stay. Summer rates are affected by peak season and the FIFA World Cup in New Jersey that weekend.
We have a block of 20 rooms. The hotel will provide a booking link shortly, and we will post it here with other reunion details as soon as it is ready.
